    Rates & Policies

    Regular Hours:

    My office hours are Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9:00 am until 7:00 pm.

    Fees and Methods of Payments:

    My fee is $150 per 55 minutes session for individuals and $200 for a 75 minutes session for couples.

    Payment is expected at time of service. You will need a credit card on file as payments are processed automatically via Stripe, an online processing software in SimplePractice-the HIPAA-compliant platform used in our video sessions.

    Communication:

    Please note that all communication requests will be answered within 24 hours and during normal business hours. You can reach me via email or voicemail. If you are having an emergency, please visit the nearest emergency room or contact the National Crisis Hotline at 800-273-8255.

    Insurance:

    At this time I am in network with BCBS of Northeastern NY and CDPHP. If you have a PPO (Preferred Plan Option) which allows you to go out of network, I can provide you with a receipt for all paid sessions. If you choose to file the claims and seek reimbursement from your insurance company, those summaries will contain all of the proper codes and diagnosis needed to process it.

    It is your responsibility to check with your insurance company to determine whether the services you are seeking are covered, what the limits are to your coverage, what deductible you have before they reimburse you, and at what rate.

    Please note, all mental health insurance companies require a psychiatric diagnosis, and sometimes, something as benign as an adjustment disorder, can impede your ability to obtain life insurance or even medical insurance if you are self-employed.

    Cancellation Policy:

    Please keep in mind that when you reserve time for your appointment, I am also reserving that time for you. When you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call at least 48 hours in advance; that allows me to try to get a client who might be waiting for an appointment to fill that slot. Late cancellations and No Show will be billed at the full rate for the time scheduled.
